I’m a qualified English as a second language (ESL) teacher. I was awarded Grade A in the CELTA and teach at International House, Boston. On a volunteer basis I help run classes once a week for the Harvard Students’ Spouses and Partners Association (HSSPA). I’ve written a summary of the 2013 classes!
I’m a native speaker with an English accent and I have real world experience in business and in the sciences. I have a MSc in Science Communication and also “interpret” science exhibits for children and their grown-ups at the Museum of Science in Boston. I’ve lived in the UK, Australia and the USA and I’m familiar with the differences between these languages.
I’ve written a few articles about teaching on this blog. Enjoy!
